Single row angular contact ball bearings can accomodate radial and thrust loads. They accomodate thrust loads in only one direction; they are adjusted against another bearing which accomodates the opposite thrust load. Angular contact ball bearings are non-sepearable. Their self-aligning capability is very limited.

Single row angular contact ball bearings with "B" in the reference means they have a 40° contact angle (they can therefore accomodate high axial loads)
